Nigerian women raise families, businesses, and communities. Yet as they age, visibility, care, strength, and support often reduce. International Women’s Day is incomplete without acknowledging ageing women, mothers and grandmothers who carried responsibility quietly and continue to shape society. For IWD 2026, ELDA is intentionally shifting the focus to these women, returning the love they gave and creating space for visibility, care, and conversation.
