Abijo Community Health & Care Drive: To the Streets with Love

ELDA to the Streets with Love: Abijo Community Outreach

On Saturday, February 28, 2026, ELDA Foundation brought care, connection, and support to the Abijo Community through our outreach programme, “ELDA to the Streets with Love.”

The event brought together community elders for a day focused on health, well-being, and meaningful engagement.

Our medical volunteers provided blood pressure checks, blood sugar screenings, medical consultations, and essential medications, while also sharing preventive health advice to help participants better manage their health.

Beyond the medical support, the outreach created a warm space for conversation and connection. Elders interacted with one another, shared stories, and enjoyed the sense of community that ELDA strives to foster through its programmes.

Each attendee also received an ELDA care package containing essential food items prepared to support daily living.

In total, 55 elders participated in the outreach, and their gratitude and smiles reminded us why initiatives like this matter.

The event was beautifully captured by Creative Kloud Hub, allowing us to preserve these moments of care and connection.

At ELDA Foundation, we believe that no one should grow older feeling invisible or alone, and through initiatives like ELDA to the Streets with Love, we remain committed to supporting older adults in our communities with dignity, compassion, and connection.
